Connect

ChatGPT

  1. 1Open ChatGPT's advanced connector settings and enable Developer mode (heed the risk notice shown there). If it's unavailable, ask a ChatGPT admin to enable it.
  2. 2Open ChatGPT's "New plugin" dialog.
  3. 3Paste the app name and the server address copied above into the name and URL fields.
  4. 4Review the details, check "I understand and want to continue" (ChatGPT shows this warning for every custom server), then click "Create".
  5. 5Enable the app from the chat composer, then ask ChatGPT to use it.

Claude

  1. 1Open Claude's custom connector dialog.
  2. 2Name the connector FounderPulse, paste the address, then click "Add".
  3. 3Sign in to FounderPulse and approve Claude when the secure window opens.
  4. 4Enable the connector from the chat composer, then ask Claude to use it.

Claude Code

  1. 1Run this command in a terminal.
  2. 2Start Claude Code and run /mcp to confirm FounderPulse is connected, signing in if asked.
  3. 3Ask Claude Code to use FounderPulse.

Other MCP clients

  1. 1Open your client's MCP server or custom connector settings.
  2. 2Create a remote MCP server connection.
  3. 3Name the connection and paste the address copied above.
  4. 4Finish any sign-in or authorization prompts.
  5. 5Enable the connection, then ask your assistant to use FounderPulse.

Refresh after an update

Your assistant caches the tool list. After a FounderPulse update, refresh the connection.

ChatGPT

  1. 1Open ChatGPT's Plugins page and select FounderPulse.
  2. 2Scroll down to "Information" and click "Refresh".
  3. 3ChatGPT can't update an existing app's URL: if it changed, delete the app and repeat the connect steps.
  4. 4Start a new chat and ask ChatGPT to use FounderPulse.

Claude

  1. 1Open the Connectors page and select the FounderPulse connector.
  2. 2Refresh or update its tools.
  3. 3Claude can't update an existing connector's URL: if it changed, remove it and repeat the connect steps.
  4. 4Ask Claude to use FounderPulse.

Claude Code

  1. 1Start a new Claude Code session: it loads the latest tools when it connects.
  2. 2If the address changed, run "claude mcp remove founderpulse", then run the install command again with the new address.
  3. 3Ask Claude Code to use FounderPulse.

Other MCP clients

  1. 1Open your client's MCP server settings.
  2. 2Select the connection created for FounderPulse.
  3. 3Refresh the tool list, reload the server, or reconnect it.
  4. 4If the address changed, paste the latest address above.
  5. 5Start a new chat or session and ask your assistant to use FounderPulse.
